Rare Caroldoll Posted December 6, 2017 #3 Share Posted December 6, 2017 Also I might mention they give you an unbelievably small amount of wine. Buy a package!
TERRIER1 Posted December 6, 2017 #4 Share Posted December 6, 2017 Just an FYI, there are two happy hours from 5 to 6 and 10 to 11 pm. Your get 2 for 1 pricing. There is also an 18% gratuity on the drinks so the cheapest glass of house red will $10 plus 18% or $11.80. We purchase bottles of local wines in port which are very good and inexpensive and then pay the $25 corkage fee. The bottle plus corkage is still cheaper then the Oceania price of their cheapest house red and much better. You can bring as much wine, beer and liquor as you wish for consumption in your cabin only. Oceania will provide classes and corkscrew.

In addition to "cabin consumption," we deposited our shore purchases with the wine steward and they were deposited in a 'bin' from which we could draw bottles at any meal, from any sommelier. Corkage-Yes, but very civilized and efficient. Sent from my iPad using Forums
