The first night of the cruise you will have a note in your cabin stating a time for the first night only... disregards the time if it is not to your liking. Ours was 6:30,we arrived at 8:00, no problem.

Funny, ours was at 8:00 and we arrived at 6:00, no problem (:

On our last cruise (Silhouette - Barcelona to Rome) we were offered a 30% discount at Murano for our first night - definitely worth it! We went to Blu anytime we wanted afterwards. Still not sure why the first night at Blu encourages a set time....

Booked an aqua class cabin for the first time on the Eclipse. I understand we can eat dinner in Blu

from 6 to 9 p.m. Yet I was assigned a 6:15 dining time. Can someone please explain. Thank you.

Guest just wait on line- best to arrive no later then 5:45 if you want a decent table- or about 8:00 PM

Never waited very long.. usually seated right easy.. one evening, we were celebrating our anniversary, the matre D escorted us to the bar, ordered a glass of champagne for us, came back 10minutes later and escorted us to a special table. Could not believe the service we received for our 14 nt South American cruise. Next cruise we do have a suite, celebrating my DH 75th BD so I’m sure Luminae will be fantastic, then our Hawaiian cruise back to Aqua class.

If the dining time you refer to is pre-cruise in your Cruise Planner the time is just a place-filler. There is no mechanism on the X website to indicate that Blu diners can eat whenever they want. On the first night aboard you will receive a note from the Blu maître d with a dining time. If it's not what you want, ignore it and go when you want to dine. We are just off Reflection, and the first night we were offered a 50% off for Murano, so we went there instead of Blu. The rest of the cruise, we went whenever we wanted. We got lovely tables near the window almost every night (we tended to go between 6:30 and 8:00). We only had to wait one evening, and that night the wait was less than five minutes.

Blu is your assigned dining room in Aqua Class, you do not have a seat assigned for you in the Main Dining Room. Just ignore the time for the first night, Blu is anytime dining all the time, go when you want.
