Capt_BJ Posted January 15, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 15, 2018 we're taking a 14 night trip from London Greenwich to Bergen on Viking Ocean this summer of 10 ports, 3 are north of the Arctic Circle: Lofoten, Tromso and Honningsvag (Nordkapp) Norway this is "into the midnight sun" ... they also offer "in search of the northern lights" Jan - Mar 2019 (12 nights) , 4 ports north of the circle with some overnight stays .... You get no night sky at all in June/July, you need to be no later than April or earlier than September really. Except to say that you have been north of the Arctic Circle, it does not really matter whether you have crossed it or not.
