If you want to send out your laundry learn to roll everything. Can get much more stuff in a bag.

Watch what you send out they wash everything of yours in a net bag (with others) n very large machine in very hot water and stuff has been known to shrink

Or Bleed! I washed a new blue skirt with my husband National's red shirt. Thank goodness the blue came out when I treated it at home.

I also found that they set up a great salad bar at lunch inside right near the BBQ. Unfortunately, I found it on our last sea day!

The salad bar is perfect - you pick the items and the server prepares it. Also around the corner just past the coffee shop, they do soup and sandwiches on sea days. Sandwiches are made to order (like the deli) and offer a version of the turkey on country roll. Usually no lines and you can sit in the pub and get a nice adult beverage.

I missed the soup & sandwiches! That would have been nice. I had a good salad made and added the smoked pork from the Pig & Anchor. Just like a Piggie in the Garden from Jim 'N Nicks.

Great question about the Magic. We are to do it the end of this month, so I am still writing notes from people who have responded here.

As for my laundry, I am different from everyone else. I just take a large trash bag, and put my laundry in it. These are all very light clothes as it will be warm on this cruise. I am blessed to have luggage (I have had people ASK to have my luggage) that has so many compartments in them. With the laundry, I just put the bag in the zipper on the outside, and in my over 25 years of cruising, no one has every taken any of my laundry.:)

The BBQ on deck 5 has two lines but most people get in line closest to the Ocean Plaza. If you go down a little farther there is another line which is usually shorter. Also they do not have any beverages so be sure to take a drink with you before you go outside to get your BBQ.

When we were on the Magic in November it was really cold in most of the inside public areas so if you tend to get cold be sure to take a sweater.

One more question - is there a map of the ship that shows the locations of the smoking areas?

I saw many deck plans but I couldnt find any that show where the smoking areas are.....
