Recommendations for tour companies from Livorno and Civitavecchia

Checked RomeinLimo but concerned if the ship doesn't make the port when it is scheduled they say you have to cancel a week prior and that may not always be possible. Need some other recommendations please

First, this doesn't sound right...if due to some unforeseen circumstance the ship can't dock, I doubt they will charge you.

 

Second, when are you going? It is very rare they can't dock in Livorno. Very rare.

Romeinlimo and most companies I’ve heard of will not charge you

If inclement weather prevents the ship from docking.

You can email Janey at RIL and ask her to put your mind at ease.

They were very accommodating.

Check with RomeinLimo or any other company but my experience is that if your ship didn't arrive at all they would not charge you. If you are late they will wait.

 

As to companies there are many. I would still look at Rome In Limo and others such as Joe Banana Limo.

 

They are all great about responding to questions in writing so just ask them this question about what happens if ship didn't make it and they will let you know.

 

Both companies normally respond to e mails in 24 hours or less.

We used papillon for Livorno, might have been best shore excursion we ever had in 60 plus cruises, Rome in limo was also good for rome

I have used these companies many times and they all do an excellent job. All Around Italy also offers reasonability priced transfers between Rome and Civitavecchia.
