famof4togo Posted April 3, 2018 Author #26 Share Posted April 3, 2018 Did you happen to notice if there a lot of boats offering whale watching tours when you were at Cabo and PV? My brother said it would be easy to find one to hire on the spot. He's often been right in the past about port tours, lol, and saved himself quite a bit of money. I definitely saw a few in Cabo, but I wouldn't say a lot and I didn't notice any in PV....but I would assume that is seasonal....so might depend on when you are traveling.... sassyredhat Posted April 16, 2018 #30 Share Posted April 16, 2018 Thanks for the great review. :) We are really Princess cruisers, but DS talked us into taking the 5 year old Granddaughter on a 14 day Hawaii cruise. :o We have sailed on Splendor, several years ago, and apparently, it is still pretty much as we found it. Personally, I like the pink, and the Golden Pearl dining room, but DH not so much. Dislike that we have to walk past the smoky casino, but it is what it is. We have reserved the Maya, and will leave our vehicle with them for the 14day cruise. This is not cheap ! It appears we will have no negative surprises, and I am looking forward to seeing the new terminal. Patti

drisinger Posted April 26, 2018 #33 Share Posted April 26, 2018 Disembarking folks. Sorry, I had to chime in, I'm just cracking up thinking of what dismemberment looks like. This is a delightful cruise review and very appreciated! I have not been on the Splendor in 5 years and love getting caught up, especially by one that enjoyed so much! Thank you! Would love to see your pics if you can load. Do tell, what was your favorite bar on ship and favorite Pearl Dining Room meal? Anything notable you might share? (Besides The Choc. Melting Cake)!
