GordorRCL Posted April 19, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 19, 2018 We are traveling with another family and we both have early dining on Oasis. I thought I had read there was an email address you could send in for things like sitting together but maybe we have to wait until we are on the ship? Sailing date is 5/27 if that helps..thanks! gerif Posted April 19, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 19, 2018 You need to link your reservations. You can do this directly or, if you booked with a TA, they need to do it. Don’t wait until you are on board.
Clarea Posted April 19, 2018 #3 Share Posted April 19, 2018 First, each of you should contact whoever booked your cruises and ask to be linked with the other party. You will need booking numbers. Once you are linked, around 3 weeks before the cruise, send an email to rcldining@rccl.com with your dining table request.
GordorRCL Posted April 19, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted April 19, 2018 does it matter if we booked through separate TA's for linking?
Corby114 Posted April 19, 2018 #5 Share Posted April 19, 2018 It doesn’t matter at all. Call Royal Caribbean with both booking numbers and they will be able to accommodate you. Just remember that the largest table in the main dining room holds around ten to twelve passengers.

Clarea Posted April 19, 2018 #7 Share Posted April 19, 2018 does it matter if we booked through separate TA's for linking? Not usually, but each of you will have to request linking with the other. If one or both of you are in a group booking, then you won't be able to link the booking. You will just have to depend on the rcldining email request. TBone2K Posted April 19, 2018 #8 Share Posted April 19, 2018 Table reservations fill up fast and you don't want to lose your chance. So I would just go ahead and call your TA to find out. Let us know what happens.
SkiTeton Posted April 19, 2018 #9 Share Posted April 19, 2018 I have done this with My Time Dining. If you can get their cruise booking number you can do it yourself for MTD on the Cruise Planner. I just linked my family with another for a 7-night on Harmony. We were more than 180 days out when I linked the 2. It's cumbersome as you have to do each day individually. Choose the day and time, lookup and link the other family, and go to your cart to checkout. You will get a confirmation email for each time your checkout. Unfortunately there is no way to add more than one day at a time to your cart. Hope you can make it work. Perhaps it would be the same routine for early dining. For the OP, this isn't applicable because they are in Early Seating, not MTD. Next time, you can just link your entire reservation number with someone else's entire reservation number instead of doing it every night like you did. Mellowjourney Posted April 20, 2018 #11 Share Posted April 20, 2018 On my recent cruise with 14 family members in 7 cabins, I sent an email with all of our reservation numbers to rcldining@rccl.com about 6 weeks before the cruise and they sent back an email confirmation with our seating assignment, altogether at one table.
