Casino credit use

I ordered casino credits and it did not give me an option to assign the gift to myself or my dh. I understand that the credit just goes on your account and you just use your cruise card at the tables to get the cash for playing. My question is since I bought the credits, do I have to sign for the cash at the table or will my husbands table charges also be applied to the total casino credit amount showing on our account?

I would guess it's just like "normal". Setup a casino account on your card and everything comes gets charged to your folio. If you and your husband have things setup so you are both on the same credit card then his casino charges will also be charged to the same folio. If you are using separate credit cards so your folios are separate then the credits you purchased should go against your account. As recommended above, you can always just go to the cashier in the casino and ask how it works.

If ordered over the phone this is possible.

You should receive a card in your room stating that you have credit. Take this to the casino cage, and you can cash it in. I've always got cash, but you may be able to apply it to your account.

From past experience, print out ALL your casino purchase information....the last time we were entitled to credit, got on board, and NOTHING. NADA. Luckily, I had printed out the information, which the casino host took to fax it to "headquarters". to get an "OK?" It took five days to get the credit...good thing it was a 10 day cruise.

Thanks for the info. That’s good to know.

That is the way it was when I had casino credit several years ago. However, there have been more recent posts on other threads which say it now is a credit that is on your onboard account.

Is your experience with this a recent one?

Thank you all. I do not think they give out the cards in the room any longer, as when I ordered online it did not give me an option to designated a name. In the past it always did. We are on one folio, so sounds like his charges will go against the purchased amount as well. Thanks!

I was on the Coral in February 2018. A gift card was in my cabin showing the casino credit. I took it to the casino cage and was given cash.
