Captain Claudio Cupisti came to each table to take a picture…..

 

I'm not sure which one is Captain Cupisti, but HOLY MOLY, those are two gorgeous men!! Wowzer!!;p

Afterwards, Patti and I posed for some pictures in the Sunflower Atrium…..

We met back at the cabin around noon to get ready for the brunch. Here is today’s towel animal. Our chocolate treats have also arrived……

 

 

The Diamond brunch was held on Deck 4 of the Monet Restaurant all the way in back. There were 15 Diamond members on this cruise. They set up three round tables, and several senior crew members sat at each table. We were seated with the Hotel and Beverage Managers.

 

We ordered off of the regular Sea Day brunch menu and of course the drinks were free and flowing freely. We had a nice time with our table mates for about an hour or so, and then Captain Claudio Cupisti came to each table to take a picture…..

 

Afterwards, Patti and I posed for some pictures in the Sunflower Atrium…..

Oh, about 100 cruise days ago! :D My first cruise as a Diamond was on the Carnival Liberty in August 2014. Patti will attain her Diamond status on our upcoming Pride cruise in October which will also be my 50th Carnival cruise. :D

Day # 3 - Amber Cove ( 10am to 7pm ).

We were up at 8am to another beautiful day. Here are today’s Fun Times……

 

We are approaching the Dominican Republic…..

 

 

Since we won’t be docking until around 10am, we stroll up to the Lido for a leisurely breakfast. We take our breakfast up the stairs to Deck10, where again there is plenty of open seating…….

We were docked a little early. We left the ship before 10am…….

 

The pier at Amber Cove is really long. There are many pedi-cabs that will take you to the entrance and back to the ship for the price of a tip……

 

 

 

We are following the masses off the pier…..

We are being serenaded as we enter Amber Cove…..

 

Once you go through the entrance and the main store you will come out into the main plaza. Here is where you will meet your excursions if you booked any through Carnival…..

 

We have booked a Pool Cabana today. Our man Martin was there to meet us…..

 

 

We are looking up to the Hillside Cabanas. We didn’t see anyone in them today…..
