CriddleLou Posted May 3, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 3, 2018 Hi! First time posting. I have cruised once before but this will be my first time crusing with our 2 year old! He drinks regular milk and that’s about it. Any recommendations on milk? Should I bring a few small cartons with us or is that something you can order? I am sure it is extra! Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
cb at sea Posted May 3, 2018 #2 Share Posted May 3, 2018 They have whole milk in little cartons...no worries. You can take a couple back to your cabin for snacks, if you'd like. Milk is NOT extra...it's included in your fare, along with ice water, coffee, tea (iced or hot), lemonade, and juice during breakfast.
kitkat343 Posted May 4, 2018 #3 Share Posted May 4, 2018 If you need warm milk before bed, room service can provide it. Room service is free on some lines, and costs extra on others. You can also order extra milk with breakfast if you have a continental breakfast delivered and store it in the cabin fridge. We’d leave one out each night so our son could have room temperature milk if he woke up late at night.

We actually had the drink station staff in the WJ heat ours when we cruised with a young grandchild. Every night just before 9:00pm there was a line of parents doing this exact same thing. akeasley Posted May 7, 2018 #5 Share Posted May 7, 2018 We just grab an extra carton (or 2) from the buffet and stick in the room fridge. I bring lots of extra sippy cups and soap to wash out the cups in our bathroom.
KimA75 Posted May 8, 2018 #6 Share Posted May 8, 2018 I was the same as akeasley. Our 3, now 4 year old is the same way. I bought an insulated cup for him to take with us. I would grab an extra carton or two at each meal and put it in the fridge for between meals. I also brought soap and a bottle brush to clean the cups (one son had a cup with the small opening that I couldn't get my hand with a cloth into to clean it). I was worried about this as well before our first cruise, but quickly found that it wasn't an issue. If you don't see the milk when you are getting a meal just ask the staff and they will get it for you.
