rob6465 Posted May 4, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 4, 2018 Wife and I live in Houston and we are booked for a December cruise from Miami. When is the best time to purchase airline tickets? Right now they are so high. Waiting for Southwest to release their dec prices.
riffatsea Posted May 4, 2018 #2 Share Posted May 4, 2018 IF you are talking about near Christmas then they will only go higher! We also have a December cruise and have had our tix booked for months now. Prices have remained pretty much the same for the last couple of months. We are also waiting to see what Southwest will offer but in looking at their fares for our route in November the prices are also not great. nutterbutter818 Posted May 4, 2018 #3 Share Posted May 4, 2018 I use Hopper to track flight prices. Set up a notification and it will tell you if you should wait or if prices are low enough that you should book.

4_THE_HALIBUT Posted May 4, 2018 #5 Share Posted May 4, 2018 Southwest’s new schedule will open up on May 31st. I’ve found that flights are usually at their lowest on the first day they open.
Keys2Heaven Posted May 4, 2018 #6 Share Posted May 4, 2018 There's a "Cruise Air" board on this site. Might be best to ask your question there as well.

girlsbgoing Posted May 4, 2018 #10 Share Posted May 4, 2018 Another vote for hopper or any other airline tracker. It helps and will notify you of price changes and trends. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
