NCL Jade mini suite with balcony---suggestions for quiet

Looking for suggestions on cabin on NCL Jade mini suite with balcony. Most are under the pool. also found out that on the Panama Canal cruise cabin 11048 was blocked on Panama Canal Day with the SkyCon painting contraption usually kept at the back of the ship.

We were recently in 11016. Very quiet - under the library. We have also stayed in the forward minis under the spa.

also, hte mini suites arent that much bigger than a balcony room. you get a nicer, larger bathroom but that's about it. id consider getting a nicer balcony room.

At least on the Jade, the photos seem to indicate that mini suites have a curtain that can be drawn between the couch and the bed(s). That could be a big plus for a group of 3-4 people planning on sharing the cabin. None of the balcony cabins seem to have that curtain.

On Jewel class ships minisuites are about 40% bigger than balcony cabins.

We like 11026 or 11028.

We avoid the mini-suites on the Jewel class ships because they do not have shower that we prefer. They have bathtubs (with shower combo) with high edges.

 

We love the mini-suites on the newer bigger ships.
