CruisingFox27 Posted June 4, 2018 #2 Share Posted June 4, 2018 You'll embark Saturday, day 1 and disembark on the following Saturday, day 8. Spending Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday night on board, equalling 7 nights.

soccer2010 Posted June 5, 2018 #4 Share Posted June 5, 2018 you are there on 2 Saturdays during the daytime ... technically 8 days although the day you get off, you have time to shower, eat breakfast and wait in a lounge until you get off ... yeah it's a 7 day cruise. SirWolf Posted June 5, 2018 #5 Share Posted June 5, 2018 8 days / 7 nights or 4 days / 3 nights , etc... are commonly used terms in the travel industry. The first day (arrival) and the last day (departure) count as “full” days, used in descriptions of bus tours and vacation package tours.
pukekolive Posted June 5, 2018 #6 Share Posted June 5, 2018 The same happened to us when we went on a Motorbike Tour in the States, it was described as 10 days but it included the first day which was meet at 4pm at the Hotel and go to the office to sign the forms, we did not even get on the bikes although we did have dinner together. Rare Beamafar Posted June 5, 2018 #7 Share Posted June 5, 2018 Funnily enough, it's only in recent times that MSC is indicating the number of days - a few years ago they only ever stated the number of nights.
