8 day 7 nites cruise??

you are there on 2 Saturdays during the daytime ... technically 8 days although the day you get off, you have time to shower, eat breakfast and wait in a lounge until you get off ... yeah it's a 7 day cruise.

8 days / 7 nights or 4 days / 3 nights , etc... are commonly used terms in the travel industry.

The first day (arrival) and the last day (departure) count as “full” days, used in descriptions of bus tours and vacation package tours.

The same happened to us when we went on a Motorbike Tour in the States, it was described as 10 days but it included the first day which was meet at 4pm at the Hotel and go to the office to sign the forms, we did not even get on the bikes although we did have dinner together.
