I HATED that you either bought the photos at the restaurant or not at all. It was pushy and tacky. I'm trying to ENJOY my meal not dealing with a sales pitch.

When I ate at the Teppanyaki restaurant, they never uttered a word, just handed us the pictures. Is it now different, do they actually try to sell them to you?

How long ago was that? Now you either pay for them at over $25/picture or give them back. Did you walk out without paying?

My cruise was in December. I didn't say I took them, I said there was no hard sell and they just handed them to you. When you paid for your meal, they simply asked if you wanted to purhase them; they were never push or tacky about it. When I said do they actually sell them to you, I was referring to the comment there was a sales pitch, which has never happened to me in the years they have been doing this in the Teppanyaki restaurant with the folders and asked if things had changed and are they now trying to sell them to you with a sales pitch. Self disembarkation starts at 6:45. Earliest time to get off if you left luggage outside night before is 7:45-8:00. We self left at 7:30 for a 10:15 flight and was at SEA and through security and at gate before 9:00.

So you took your luggage with you? and still made it for your 10:15 a.m. flight leaving at 7:30? I have read Seattle port valet can't be used for flights earlier than 11 a.m. -

We buy the 20 or 30 picture package. Sometimes minute differences are not distinguishable on the screens. We look at the printed pictures to make the decision.

I never went in there. But just walking near it was awful. So my guess would be that inside the room was really gross.

I am also doing the NYC to Caribbean..but a year later :( I would love to see pics of the free dining menus ( since I hear they change from other areas .. And what shore excursions you did and would recommend.for 1st time cruisers to that area weather on your own and thru the ship.

 

 

I too would love to see the dailies! I'm on a NYE cruise to the Caribbean so obviously mine will be different, but the ship-centric things will be the same (and that's what I'm curious about). Thanks in advance!

This was the first time we really felt that with NCL. They even charge 6 bucks for bowling!

 

I was wondering about that. I'm not even sure where you sign up.

 

For those curious, it's not full sized. Lanes are maybe half the length. Balls are the size of handballs, so maybe half the size of a bowling ball? I just watched while eating at the closest table from the Local, but it didn't look like they put their fingers in the balls. You just roll it like a big softball.
