Capt. Eric Barhorst on the stbd bridge wing, along with his staff captain, Marek Zoll from Poland, and a Southeast Alaska pilot who will stay onboard until Ketchikan, along with one colleague

Still using that forklift to pull the heavy mooring lines to the bollards

I wasn't sure. Were they pulling lines or moving the barrier out of the way for the gangway?

The forklift in Juneau, known as "Big Bertha" ;pis generally used for securing mooring lines and then to hook up the shore-side (not ship's) gangway. FYI, this pic was taken prior to the latest modifications to the two docks in Juneau

They do a great job. Do you know if Nieuw Amsterdam offers a Tracy Arm excursion like Volendam?
