Solarium in Alaska

Hi everyone!

Just wondering the temperature of the solarium when you're cruising Alaska!

Is it warm enough to swim and sit on a lounger and read a book without wearing ++ layers?

We spent alot of time in the Solarium on our Solstice cruise to Alaska. It's kept very warm and the hot tub is also at the proper temps. This was our go-to place when not out and about. You will certainly enjoy your time there.

Yes, sorry I was thinking about the pool when writing. The entire room is climate controlled and of course is called the Solarium. We did Alaska on Solstice, you may find kids are let in more than they would be on a warm weather cruise.

On Millennium, the solarium was very comfortable. Kids were allowed from 4-7 pm everyday IIRC.

on our Alaska cruise in August we found it more comfortable to use the outdoor jacuzzis. The temperature was fine in the late afternoons in Ketchikan and Juneau after touring.
