thank you for the Fleet report, Hope you are doing well and are safe during the coming hurricane/

Hello Himself,

So far we are doing well. The Hurricane is just off the North Carolina coast, and we are prepared for the Hurricane. We might lose power, we usually do not lose the power for long periods of time, but this could be different. We have plenty of water and food. Keep the prayers coming for North and South Carolina.

Thanks for asking,

David

Just one note...the Zuiderdam is docked in Brooklyn instead of Manhattan...apparently they are dredging at Pier 90 in Manhattan, and Pier 88 is already taken by other ships....this is the first time I've noticed a HAL ship in Brooklyn...usually only Princess and Cunard use that pier.....

Just noticed a reference on another thread that they are doing repairs to the side of Pier 90 that was damaged when it was struck by the Carnival Horizon last week.

"Justice" would have been for that ship to be sent to Brooklyn, but the logistics of that wouldn't have worked out so well, account a lot more of her passenger's turning around then the Zuiderdam, not to mention a lot more of their auto's already parked there...
