C&A on board discounts

For the BOGO drink discount offered on the sea pass, are you served both drinks at once or can I get the free one later? I like my beer cold so I wouldn't them at the same time. 

Also, I purchased the refreshment package; can I use that in the MDR or should I take a drink with me to dinner?

Both BOGO drinks at once.

 

The beverage packages work everywhere on the ship, plus Coco Cay and Labadee.

I've had success sitting at a bar asking them to hold the 2nd to keep it cold but I sit there for both.

I have also many times, before I bought the bev pkg, asked them to bring the second drink (I drink beer) in an ice bucket and they always did without a problem

I've had them hold the second one and I've taken the second one away unopened.

I take the 2nd one unopened also.  Never have any issues doing that

Way different than taking Diamond drinks unopened in my opinion.

Likely varies by ship.  Ask onboard.  

 

The floating bar on Cococay varies wildly depending what ship you take there.  The drinks available on an Empress visit were very different  from Enchantment.   Mariner is different again.  

 

Each ship does it differently.  Empress had paper receipts on the floating bar.   Enchantment had a wireless terminal on the floating bar that could print receipts.   One would have no way to know if you've used that coupon already.
