no fuss travel Posted December 16, 2018 #1 Share Posted December 16, 2018 If one is doing two segments of the world cruise how many specialty dinner reservations are you entitled to? I know when we did a Grand Voyage we got 2 at each restaurant for each segment. We will be on the Insignia for 59 days. thank you
Rare LHT28 Posted December 16, 2018 #2 Share Posted December 16, 2018 I would think you could prebook the allotted amount for your cabin cat for each segment You can always ask for more once onboard https://oceaniacruises.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360005477653-
no fuss travel Posted December 16, 2018 Author #3 Share Posted December 16, 2018 Thank you. I will let you know what happens when I try to book them tomorrow.
no fuss travel Posted December 16, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted December 16, 2018 I did get four reservations at each restaurant. There were no Tables for 2 except at 9 pm for the entire cruise.

Rare LHT28 Posted December 16, 2018 #6 Share Posted December 16, 2018 I would check back every so often to see if they opened up more slots earlier you never know

If that truly is a concern, remember that one of the benefits of booking a higher category cabin is that Specialty Restaurant reservations become available earlier. 😇
no fuss travel Posted December 16, 2018 Author #8 Share Posted December 16, 2018 Ah yes but since we have so many sea days and we are having awful storms on the west coast at this time of year. (Climate change)we deliberately chose to be on the 4th deck. People on the 4th deck survive the rough waterbetter than those further forward or back. We noticed that when we did the Greenland /Iceland cruise and hit some pretty rough water.

Rare pinotlover Posted December 16, 2018 #10 Share Posted December 16, 2018 Now StanandJim, I always thought you were older! You know full well the Pacific was in fact pacific until the last few years! No cyclones, bad storms, high waves, high winds, drought, etc until the effects of “Climate Change” occurred! You two obviously can be much more than twenty somethings if your father was engaged in shipping in anything except the most pacific of waters!
