zwallace Posted December 30, 2018 #1 Share Posted December 30, 2018 I asked this on another forum but haven't received a response so I'm trying this forum. We are cruising on the Carnival Sunshine January 12, and thought I'd read that there will be an 80's night. I think it's a great idea. but am wondering if a lot of people dress up. Don't want to cram anymore in our suitcases as they are going to be pretty full already. If only a few dress, we'd be less inclined to bring our outfits. Thanks for any responses. bluesman0711 Posted December 31, 2018 #4 Share Posted December 31, 2018 I remember the house band and the cruise director were dressed up, but don't recall seeing any passengers dressed in 80's outfits.
bbtbear Posted December 31, 2018 #5 Share Posted December 31, 2018 (edited) I got tshirts for the 80s night on our upcoming cruise that we can wear other times, too. "Frankie Says Relax" and "Save Ferris." It didn't take up any extra room to pack these and we can wear them to the pool or wherever so they are a functioning part of our wardrobe that will make 80s night a little more fun and silly for us. 🙂 Edited December 31, 2018 by bbtbear mistake

zwallace Posted January 1, 2019 Author #7 Share Posted January 1, 2019 Splash_in_the_water, I totally agree with you. I'd put DH in the miami vice get-up.

Llamabear Posted February 26, 2019 #9 Share Posted February 26, 2019 I bet more ppl would dress up if Carnival sent out an email explaining theme nights before cruises. I'd totally pack some kind of getup if I knew in advance.
