Texting?

I know this has been asked before, but I can't seem to find the search feature any longer, so please indulge me.

Is there an app available for texting among passengers?  Can someone supply a link to more information?

  You can send messages to other passengers but the phone wont alert them when the message is sent.  You have to check your phone periodically for new messages.

You use the HAL Navigator app.   We haven't bothered with it - it doesn't notify you with a sound.  I don't need to carry my phone around peering at it all the time.  DH and I just tell each other where we are going or leave a note in the cabin.  I haven't lost him yet. 🤣

When you get on board the ship you can log into their intranet which gives you access to your on-board account, dining menu’s and a list of activities and excursions. When using their intranet you can text to other traveling companions who are on-board but their is no beep or tone notification. One has to check phone often.

• The Navigator is not an app to download from an App store or Play store.  It is a feature of the onboard web page that you can only access using the browser on your phone.

The "Search" feature is in the upper right corner of the screen. After some rough starts, it works much better now in this new platform.
