ANY OPTICAL SHOPS ON BOARD?

  My DH always travel ed with   three pair glasses  He  needed tri focals and would not risk being without a good, useable pair.

I read here on CC that one of the Celebrity ships has glass blowing classes.  So, I'm thinking, just maybe . . .

For people who don't have a spare pair, a former coworker just got glasses -- lenses and frames both -- for $11USD, cash price, no insurance.  

Even if they were butt-ugly "military basic" (which hers weren't), eleven bucks is some pretty cheap insurance to make sure your vacation isn't ruined!

Shops are on board to generate revenue for the cruise company.  How much revenue would an on board optical shop generate?  As others have said, just bring a spare pair of glasses.
