Rare Copper10-8 Posted January 28, 2019 #152 Share Posted January 28, 2019 Interesting vessel at the inboard Navy Pier/Outer Mole in Key West today. She is the U.S.-flagged m/v Hos Mystique, an offshore supply vessel based out of New Orleans, LA for Hornbeck Offshore Services LLC. She is currently under charter to the U.S. Navy on a $7.4 million contract "to provide proof of concept for a single vessel to meet various training, exercise, experimentation, and operational mission support requirements"

Roy It might be because of the winds and swells. There was a tornado and Cuba was hit. It might not have been safe to sail.

Roy A few years ago we stayed until 8 PM. Captain was making arrangements to change our entire itinerary. We were scheduled to do a western itinerary. But Hurricane Paula decided we needed to do an eastern itinerary. We were scheduled to leave at 5 but our captain was making plans for us to visit a couple of eastern ports before we headed back to Tampa to do our next cruise which was an eastern itinerary.
