Avocado Fiesta Guacamole Class

I'm from AZ and can make guacamole in my sleep, but I love Mexican food.  If anyone has done this, is it worth it?  If nothing else for the joy of eating guacamole and drinking margaritas :-).

I can't imagine a "guacamole" class being worth it.  Paying for a class in this is like paying to learn how to boil water.

That was my thought which is why I ask - I didn't know if there was any entertainment value to it. . .

We did this. Son chosen to demonstrate. He is 21 and enjoyed. Also, didn’t have drink package so free margarita was good. Personal choice but we enjoyed lunch , drinks and entertainment.

What was the cost?

People will fall for almost anything on a cruise. 

 

If they offered a class on how to clean cabins or bus tables.

 

Passengers would pay for it...

We did this a year or so ago.  It isn't just a "how to gut an avocado" class as some posts above suggest.  It was a fun way to kill some time.  The guac demo was pretty quick.  They then did a demo on making the spicy margaritas as well as a brief lecture on the differences between Tequllia and Mescal with shots of each.   appetizers, lunch, and dessert were included too.

So you're paying for the shots (margaritas?), appetizers, lunch, dessert and the demos!  Sounds like it's worth it if you're looking to pass some time, fill your stomach and socialize - not bad! Thanks for the input - definitely something I will consider.
