momof4girls Posted March 2, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 2, 2019 Since I’ve never been to the NE, I was wondering which is better? Seeing Boston from 8-5 or from 4-10? I’m not sure what the “not miss” things/places are so I don’t know which to choose...
TruckerDave Posted March 2, 2019 #2 Share Posted March 2, 2019 9hrs vs 6hrs...day vs night. 9hrs in the daytime would be an easy choice for me.

I wish we were there from 8-5. I don’t think arriving in the late afternoon is ideal.

I just honestly wasn’t sure if there were things in the evening that weren’t worth missing (like Vegas in the daytime vs Vegas at night). I haven’t really begun my “research” of this cruise yet! mets123 Posted March 3, 2019 #7 Share Posted March 3, 2019 Places like Fanuiel Hall are best seen in the day time. So are most sight seeing tours. And many museums and places of historical interest close at six.
suec12 Posted March 21, 2019 #8 Share Posted March 21, 2019 Well my 2 cents - we are doing a Princess cruise in Aug. and I think the times in Boston are 7am to 10pm. We were in Boston for a day last Sept. - there are many things to see and do, a variety of neighborhoods to explore and then the waterfront / harbor. So if you don't want to "jump ship" I'd go for the longer stay.
