New game onboard - guess the Cruise Director!

So we boarded Regal on Saturday just gone and Lexi Comley’s picture was proudly displayed as our CD.

But at sail away we had Adam Love. He didn’t say much or interact with the audience, a couple of words then he was gone.

Maybe he was tired as he had only joined Regal that day.

However Wednesday night after just 3 nights onboard he announces he is no longer our CD and someone from New Zealand will be taking over today! (Corey I think)

No doubt if he’s just flown in he will be tired also.

We appreciate CDs change and leave and take a vacation but to have 3 listed on a 7 day is it but much!

Interesting.  Lexi was our CD 3/17-24 but she had help.  Oz, and two others (sorry but I can’t remember their names) and maybe one more.  I was disappointed with the televised game shows.  They weren’t promoted well and were not on the ship tv. Also the morning show was not always available.

I should say say that the flu hit towards the end of our week so it is possible that she got sick.

The CD we had on the Regal in October was great.  Again I can remember his name but I would have bet money that he was twins or triplets.  He was everywhere!

I have had Adam Love on one of our cruises as the Entertainment Director, he was fairly quiet at the start, but as ED he didn't need to be front and center.  I would guess he was just filling in the CD role until Corey could get to the ship.

It sounds very much like the first CD was scheduled to leave when the ship docked.  However the relieving CD had transportation or personal problems and was not able to meet the ship until a few days later.  So Princess at the last minute brought in a temporary CD to fill in.  That relieving CD may have had other plans that were quickly changed like he was going on leave etc.  The relieving CD knew about the issue and did not care to exert a lot of energy in something that was quite temporary but he did fill the slot with a qualified CD.

Corey was originally assigned to another ship, and a few days ago  he was reassigned to the Regal.

Corey was our Cruise Director on the Sea Princess 2017 World Cruise 106 days. Great guy and Cruise Director.

Would have him as Cruise Director again at any time

ekka49; so you had the same cruise director for the entire 106 days?  Did the captain and hotel director stay also?

WE had Captain Christopher Lye for 2/3rds of the world cruise. A very approachable  English Captain. Unsure about the hotel director.
