There is the USS victory ship near the Florida Aquarium also. Florida Aquarium just received top 10 Aquariums award again. Could also walk along Channelside or take the trolley to Ybor, the old Cuban Village.

Our flight out of Tampa isn't until 4:30. We are spending the day before the cruise in Tampa, but any suggestions for killing a couple of hours. We will have our carry-on luggage with us. TIA!

What will you do with your checked luggage?  (Our flight out isn't until 5:55PM so trying to figure out how to kill some time too.)

We will disembark in Fort Lauderdale.  Have to be off ship by 9:30 latest.  Flight not until 7 pm.  We have a hotel day room booked.  $69.00 includes pick up port and shuttle to airport.  We are sure of the shuttle to airport, but will see if the pick up works out.  If not, will use Uber. Will enjoy pool, have lunch, relax, shower and set to board plane.

I would go to Ybor City and have a nice long lunch at Colombia.

YBOR is really a night time destination, pretty dead during the day

and Columbia Cafe is walking distance from the cruise terminals and on the water

they don't have the full menu but the have the highlights especially a cuban sandwich, salad and pitchers of sangria . . .

Columbia Cafe

It is in the Tampa History Center, on Riverwalk

I see you have a dinner at Columbia planned

I'd change the dinner to BERN's

and then do the Columbia lunch as I mentioned

lunch at BERN's is not an option

fantastic steak house consistently rated as one of the best. Arguably the largest wine list of any restaurant in the world, and be sure to plan on going to the separate dessert room. You can tour the kitchen and the on site wine cellar (just a part of the collection) ... it is not just a meal but a full evening of entertainment.

we do Columbia for dinner when we can't get a reservation at Bern's
