missingyou Posted May 23, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 23, 2019 Just booked the 4 day CoCo Cay/Bahamas cruise out of Port Canaveral for Feb 24, 2020 on Mariner of the seas.. Any suggestions for excursions - things to do and places to eat at CoCo Cay? The last time we were at CoCo Cay was probably 2007 on our first cruise and from the looks of the RCI website, it has really changed. Do we need to book a cabana or can we just find a place on the beach with our towels? Parasailing looked interesting as well as the swimming pigs. Any suggestions for excursions and things to do and places to eat in the Bahamas ( Nassau )? Is a beach escape worthwhile? Is Atlantis worthwhile? As background, we love the beach, sightseeing - local cultures and history and shopping. We don't generally do waterparks. Open to suggestions on what others have done that we may find interesting. As always appreciate your input.

missingyou Posted August 10, 2019 Author #4 Share Posted August 10, 2019 We saw a couple of excursions that seemed interesting on the RCI site - has anyone tried these? Thoughts? 1. Blue Lagoon Island Deluxe Beach Break 2. Pearl Island Escape Day with Lunch 3. Discover Nassau Land and Sea
kevinkingmd Posted August 10, 2019 #5 Share Posted August 10, 2019 We got a cabana in Thrill Water Park. Great with our two teenagers. Had a great time. Nassau is... well.... Nassau. We largely stayed on the ship.
OceansOfTravels Posted August 10, 2019 #6 Share Posted August 10, 2019 I really enjoyed the beach day at the Melia Resort in Nassau. It's a beautiful hotel (that I could never afford otherwise :D) with great facilities for the day, we used our points at Starbucks at the Starbucks in the lobby to get us some drinks to save some money (since we booked the package without food) and just enjoyed the pool, beach, wifi, and facilities.
