spookyfudge Posted May 28, 2019 #2 Share Posted May 28, 2019 No your travel agent should be able to move the flights for you! Also you can do a "rebook" of the flights and sometimes they come down in price and you can just cancel the old ones and book the new flights up till I think a week before you leave. Check with travel agent.
Rare Ombud Posted May 28, 2019 #3 Share Posted May 28, 2019 I can only rebook flights until 45 days before departure (not embarkation)
Rare Coral Posted May 28, 2019 #4 Share Posted May 28, 2019 (edited) What you will do is have your TA re-fare your cruise, not rebook. Everything stays the same when you re-fare (excursions, flights, etc...) except for your promos and price. Edited May 28, 2019 by Coral

Knickearth Posted May 28, 2019 Author #6 Share Posted May 28, 2019 Sorry spooky fudge but when we booked our cruise the cost of the flights was zero. Can’t get better pricing than that.

You can probably keep the "flights" but not the cost if you booked under a promo that included special pricing for flights. U could be right. Althothe flights were not part of a cruise promo.

Althothe flights were not part of a cruise promo. $250 off of flights was a booking promotion. When you have your agent refare to the new promo you will lose the flight promo credit of $250 off of flights, but you will not lose your flights saved to your booking (you will have them at the rate they were when you saved them). If you cancel and rebook, which is different than refaring, you will lose your promos, as well as your saved flights, from your current booking. 2theship Posted May 28, 2019 #11 Share Posted May 28, 2019 Whenever a new sale comes along, you need to compare your total costs for both possibilities. We had that situation last year and a lot of people on our cruise were re-booking because they could get a huge amount of onboard credit. When we compared our discounted air and total cruise cost, we would have lost a significant amount to make the change.
