Drink package, gratuities

First time on Carnival. Thinking about the bev package. Do you pay gratuities separate or are they already included? Yes its a nice gesture to add a bit more for good service etc but not mandatory.

Also haven't found prices and are interested to compare? Would love some input.

When you pay for the package they will add the gratuity.  Someone has a good cheers spreadsheet on here with prices, maybe you can find it in a search or someone will post it for you.

There is an 18% gratuity added to the cost of the package.  Yes, tipping additionally for extraordinary service is appreciate, but not required.

When you buy Cheers, 18% gratuities will be added to the price, based on the cost of the package (less if purchased prior to cruising.)

 

If you want to pay more in tips feel free to do so.

Here is the cost.  You get it slightly cheaper if purchased pre-cruise.

The gratuity is now 18%, not 15%.
