Celebrity - Silhouette

We are scheduled to sail on the Celebrity 'Silhouette' in November and just read that they have a new addition to the Lawn Club - eight alcoves, private cabana rentals that replace the Corning Glass Show.  Does anyone know anything about these cabanas?  Cost, etc.?

The Silhouette has never had the Glass Show. The wonderful Lawn Club Grill is in that spot. There have always been alcoves. No idea whether they are adding more.

The Corning Glass Show was a feature on the Eclipse but the Silhouette has the Lawn Club Grill in that same spot. The Alcoves are arranged around the lawn and have been on the Silhouette for the past two years at least.

You can pre-book these through your cruise planner, or book on board. The cost as far as I remember is $299 for sea days and $99 for port days. The price includes still and sparking water, plus a fruit plate in the morning and a cheese plate in the afternoon. On sea days I believe it also includes lunch in the Lawn Club Grill. The alcoves are very spacious for two guests, can easily accommodate four guests, but would be a more of a squeeze for more than four. We used them last year on in September on the Silhouette - port days and sea days - and they are a really nice addition to the trip. They're a nice way to escape the crowds on busy sea days. We've pre-booked a couple of days for our Med cruise this year.

Quick tip - if you are thinking of pre-booking through your cruise planner, make sure you only select one guest name, otherwise the web site will tell you that there are no dates available.
