When will our formal night be on 3 night cruise?

I assume we will have 1 formal night on our 3 night cruise on Independence of the seas, when will this be?

I've never done a 3 nghter, but recently a 4 nighter and it was on the 2nd night like most cruises! ie night 1 is the night you leave port

There is no formal night on 3 day cruise. Instead there is a Dress Your Best night, which is night 2.

 Just off a three night cruise, it was called “dress your best“. People were dressed all kinds of ways from gowns to short shorts.

That doesn’t necessarily apply to all ships.  The Indy is still sailing in Europe and a recent 4 day cruise still listed a formal night.  That being said, whatever it’s called you can wear what you want.
