Edge - best place to have a drink before dinner

I am concerned that The Edge has fewer bars than Solstice class ships. I like to meet friends before dinner 6:30 ish for a drink and socializing. What do you suggest for a quiet area for a drink that is not too crowded?

Eden Bar, esp for BLU or Eden dinner

Casino Bar

Club Bar..if open

Periphery of Martini Bar...

Not as good as other ships..but you will find your spots

After dinner we go to the theater early for a drink and people watch!

It depends on what you want to drink.

Martinis?   Then the Martini Bar.  Problem there is it gets filled up with the passengers that are there for the Elite HH.   They don’t get the Premium Martinis but are served the drinks that are on their menu, and it is close to the MDRs.

Basically any bar that you like and is open.  We loved and enjoyed everything on the Edge.  Would book another cruise but can justify the premium cost.

You will figure it out once on board, don’t sweat the small stuff and try to do too much planning in advance as things will change.

Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

The Grand Plaza area near the Martini Bar can get crowded and noisy, though we found it varied. We often would go for the 5:00 music set and stay for a while and had no trouble getting seats, if we went early - it is livelier there as the evening goes on. Eden was quieter - they had music sets at 5:00 as well (seemed more low key). The bar is friendly and there are many separate quiet areas to sit with good bar service -  the view is beautiful. The Club  bar usually opens at 7:00 PM though activities don't start in there until after 8:00 PM so it might be a good place for a pre-dinner drink - it is probably low key at that time though we didn't go there pre-dinner. The Magic Carpet Bar on 5 is usually open around 7:00 PM and is a lovely place for a drink if the weather is nice - a very nice, relaxing place. Lots of choices...enjoy! 🍹

FYI: I used dailies from a very recent cruise for the times, but they may vary.

Thanks all. I would rather not deal with the crowds and battle loud music before dinner.  Just a simple drink and quiet conversation so Eden may be the answer since we will be eating in Blu. Although, the Magic Carpet sounds pretty cool if we can track it down.

And Miched, you diagnosed me correctly- I have OPD (over planning disease).   :-)

Forgot about the Magic Carpet...we have gibe for am mimosas and bloody marys,. But def will try to check that out, esp around sunset on the right days for that!..

Wonder if we can get drinks at Baccio 2( if there is  one)...and then sit outside the buffet.

As several of us have noted, a nice mellow lounge or jazz club would be great!

It's bright orange and pretty hard to miss. 😉  Just kidding...

They really should have meetings onboard for those of us with OPD...we could share our spreadsheets.
