LA_Traveler Posted September 16, 2019 #1 Share Posted September 16, 2019 We're looking at the August 6, 2020 Azamara Pursuit sailing "Iceland Intensive" 15 night cruise with 6 sea days. Many reviews say the ship is light on daytime activities and that's a lot of sea days. Is this true for Azamara and particularly this ship? Does anyone have a copy of Azamara sea day activities that you can post? Thanks!
Grandma Cruising Posted September 16, 2019 #2 Share Posted September 16, 2019 Here you are - first is a port day, second is a sea day.

Grandma Cruising Posted September 16, 2019 #4 Share Posted September 16, 2019 You’re welcome. I thought the copies of Insider I kept from my last cruise might come in useful!
Rare travelberlin Posted September 16, 2019 #5 Share Posted September 16, 2019 (edited) On cruises with many sea days I have enjoyed the lectures. Those usually are held about subjects relevant to the destinations. Since your cruise is in Iceland I guess many activities will take place inside the ship. I hope your cruise is not fully booked, because on those cases, Azamara ships, being small, do not have many places where you can retreat besides your cabin. Rare uktog Posted September 17, 2019 #6 Share Posted September 17, 2019 The destination lectures and other specialists lectures are very variable and our recent experience is not positive (quality is not what it was) but I can recommend bringing good books or explore the library early on. The Den is a lovely place to sit, read and socialise.

If Chuck, the destination speaker is on your cruise (he and wife Helga do a lot of Azamara Cruises) then go and see him. They are also a delightful couple. Baynanno1 Posted September 17, 2019 #9 Share Posted September 17, 2019 One of the best I have enjoyed is Dave Kingrea. We have been lucky enough to cruise with him and his lovely wife Anne on a few occasions.
