Where are the Filipino bands so loved prior to the 2.0 "upgrade??

Looking  to try CCL again...but wanting great classic rock, dance band on the newer ships...

I tend to agree. Where are they? The band they had on one of our cruises was awesome. They also preformed in the main theater doing the Beatles and were suburb. We went to listen to them whenever they were playing anywhere on the ship. Unbelievably talented for sure.

I think the bands Carnival has had on their ships the last few years have significantly improved. We use to rarely listen to bands on Carnival cruises, but now find we spend a lot of time in the lobby, Red Frog Pub, Ocean Plaza, etc. (depending on the ship) listening to bands.

When we were on the Dream in Dec 2018, there was this one steel drum player that played all the time. I love me some steel drum music, but by the 3rd day i was getting tired of the same old songs being played. I do enjoy the 80's concerts and such, some of them bands were decent, but not great, imo. All in all, they do try and have something for everyone though.

Anyone remember from recent cruises where the "Music_______" bands were performing...most def not on 2.0 upgrade ships or Fantasy class shorter cruises.   Blood Power is another that comes to mind...

I agree! They are defiantly missed over the house bands they have today. We sailed three different times when Music Degree happened to be on board. Those guys jammed out to anything and everything every night!
