Upsell Offer

14 Night Holiday Caribbean Cruise upsell from interior to balcony for $369 pp. That's almost 30% of what I paid for the cruise.

 

Should I take the offer?

Of course it is your money, but inside to balcony for 14 nights? I would jump on that!

My personal practice is to consider upsell offers if the price is $20-$30 per person per day.  I recently took an offer from ocean view to balcony for around $23 per person per day but when I reserve a room type and location I choose one that I will be happy with without considering an upsell possibility.

From interior to balcony, for 14 nights?  I would grab it.  But as has already been said, it is your money.

 

One thing to consider, you might find that if you do this upsell, you will no longer be satisfied with the interior cabins.  My first mini-suite was an upsell, and now my wife will not accept less!!

I took upsell from balcony to mini-suite on the same cruise. $5200 for 14 days in mini-suite was to good to pass.

That's a lot less than the upsell offers we received for the Crown's transatlantic cruise: $1,099 pp to move from inside to balcony (16-day cruise). We received a subsequent offer two months later (two weeks before the cruise): $899 pp to move from inside to balcony.  No thanks.

sure hope that at least it's a CC mini at that price ....
