Bottomless Bubbles Cancelled due to Coke/Pepsi change

I purchased the Bottomless Bubbles for my husband for our cruise on the Breeze in February.  He's decided that he can't stand Pepsi, so I cancelled the Bottomless Bubbles.  My question is how does Carnival credit the cancellation.  I've been waiting for an e-mail to confirm the cancellation, but, none has been forthcoming.  I figure they will either credit my credit card and apply the cost to my sign and sail card.  Has anyone had any experience with a cancellation?  Thanks.

They will credit it back to the form of payment used to purchase it, so if you put it on your credit card you will see a credit show up. Sometimes I've gotten emails acknowledging a cancellation and sometimes I haven't. Refunds can take anywhere from a couple of days to about a week.

Your title makes it sound like Carnival has cancelled the program due to the change of supplier.

I read it that way too.  I was wondering if they had a problem with bottomless bubbles because of Pepsi, would that mean cheers no longer had soft drinks included?

But, alas, this isn’t going to be a new cheers related discussion at all!

OP: I’ve made cancelations before.  Usually I get a cancelation email, but not always.  Money comes back in 3-5 business days.  The same length of time for any other refund to appear on your credit card account.

If you paid via gift card, they’ll mail you a new one, but I’m not sure of the time frame for that.
