lbfluffy Posted January 28, 2020 #1 Share Posted January 28, 2020 We always go to Las Caletas when we cruise to Puerto Vallarta. It always has to be booked through the ship. We are booked on the Royal on December 12th. I do not see that excursion listed. Will it be added later?
CruiserBruce Posted January 28, 2020 #2 Share Posted January 28, 2020 Assume you are referring to Princess. I would be checking on the Princess board on their policy as to when their excursions are fully released. As you are still 11 months away, hard to say when all the excursions are going to show. I noticed the same thing since moving to Princess cruises from Carnival. Las Caletas was always an option on our Carnival excursions but I've yet to see it with Princess including our upcoming May 6th cruise on Golden Princess. Well I may have to book through the company directly. I know they use Vallarta Adventures.
4hunters Posted January 29, 2020 #5 Share Posted January 29, 2020 (edited) Agreed. I bet you’ll be able to book directly through Vallarta Adventures. I hope they still do “another one bites the dust” on the way back to port. I couldn’t stop laughing at the fake teeth on the guy that played Freddie on the way back to the ship. 😂 Edited January 29, 2020 by 4hunters Spelling
Mike45LC Posted January 30, 2020 #6 Share Posted January 30, 2020 I expect it will be offered by Princess. Vallarta Adventures has a deal with Princess that they will not sell directly to Princess cruise passengers. I believe that if a tourist tries to book an excursion for a day that a cruise ship is in town, that booking might be declined unless the tourist can give hotel information -- to keep cruise passengers from cheating and booking directly with Vallarta Adventures.
