Hello All!

Quick question about Roatan. My husband and I were at the port 5 years ago and at that time there was beach access right at the port.

Recently, I saw a video stating no beach access from the port. Is this true? If yes, what are your favorite excursion

in Roatan?

NCL docks at Coxen Hole, so on your previous trip to Roatan you must have been docked at Mahogany Bay where there is beach access at the port.  There is a wide range of excursions in Roatan so it would just depend on what you are looking to do.  You might want to check out Roatan on the Ports of Call section.  We have gone to West Bay on our own, Little French Key on several occasions, and a private resort where we eaten alive by bugs you couldn’t see..😳

If you were on a trip under the Carnival umbrella you went to Mahagony Bay... NCL ports in Coxen Hole which has no beach

Was just in Roatan last week. We opted for the all-inclusive Turquoise Bay beach excursion. It was very nice, great guide, great service. Only downside is that it is on the East side of the island so the ride was about 30 mins.

Maya Key is a 3 to 5 minute boat ride away, you can see ship from the location. Boats come back at different times so you're not stuck if you want to come back  to the to port or ship.

Nice place, wonderful lunch included. Pool, beach and animal interactions. A definite recommendation, lower price than other beach club or options with NCL.
