Quinn Posted February 11, 2020 #1 Share Posted February 11, 2020 Has anyone done the Chefs Table on the Summit? If so - what did you think and when was the dinner held. On the description it states 5:30 first night of the cruise but if you read further it says that you would find out the date and time when you get to your stateroom. Any info would be appreciated. Rare garyl62 Posted February 11, 2020 #2 Share Posted February 11, 2020 I haven't been part of this event, but I'm considering it for our trip in 4 weeks. On the app it shows it being offered on day 3 and 5 at 7:00PM in Tuscan Grill. I'd be interested to hear more about it also.
Rare Georgia_Peaches Posted February 11, 2020 #3 Share Posted February 11, 2020 Agree. Hope someone chimes in. the 5:30 time is unappealing to us but 7:00 pm would work. I believe it also indicates the price without the wine pairing ($139 pp). You can add the wine pairing for an additional fee ($199 pp). If you do not get the wine pairing, can you still use your drinks package to order wine by the glass? or even bring a bottle of your own?

The 5:30 PM first night is just a place holder. The actual time and place is determined after you board. 😊

Quinn Posted February 11, 2020 Author #6 Share Posted February 11, 2020 Thanks so much - we have done a Chefs Table on Princess and it was excellent - I think we will book this for our Summit trip as well.
Rare Jim_Iain Posted February 11, 2020 #7 Share Posted February 11, 2020 We did the Chef's Table on Summit and met at 6:30 at Cellar Master to meet the others joining the event. After a sip of bubbly the Head Chef came up and escorted us down to the galley for a tour during rush hour serving. It was incredible and nothing like I would have imagined. Very orderly and no yelling and screaming. Dinner was around 7:00 and lasted about 2 hours. It was held in Tuscan right in the middle of the room. While not as intimate as the ones we have done in the past in the Private Room off the Specialty Restaurant it was a very pleasant evening
