Ft Lauderdale Embassy Suites - restaurant for dinner

Hi.  We haven't stayed at the Embassy Suites for a few years.  Looking for a nice restaurant within walking distance of the hotel.  Prefer a water view?  Thank you in advance!  Wanda

I'm not sure I'd consider either of these "nice"...  And Kelly's Landing isn't on the water, either.

 

Personally, I'd go to 15th Street Fisheries or Boatyard.

15th Street Fisheries is about 1 mile.  20 min walk.  You actually walk right past Kelly's and Southport.  Both are great, Southport is more of a dive bar on the water.  Kelly's is a New England seafood spot, pretty good, but not something I'd do if I'm visiting Florida.  And no view.

 

Boatyard is about 10 minute walk.
