Zero surprise. The entire spring/summer 2020 for all cruises is a bust. Prediction early 2021 for resumption.

Does not surprise me at all.  Odd thing is, have not seen or heard anything on any local Seattle stations or newspapers about the suspension.

I am not surprised at all. These routes are the most vulnerable. These hubs are full of passengers. People living in those port towns might be the main force that pushes the local authorities from taking those cruisers in. No one has spoken about it but I think this factor is very important. And people should take it into consideration

I think it's more a public relations move.  I don't have any statistics to back this up but I'd be willing to bet all my valuable CCL stock that Sea-Tac airport brings in and sends off many, many more travelers than the cruise port.  Closing the port to cruise ships when they're not sailing anyway isn't doing a thing.  If it were a real public safety move, they would shut down ALL ports - cruise port and airport, but they aren't doing that.
