My NCL cruise insurance is refunded?

My May cruise was just cancelled. I called to see what my refund amount

would be if I chosecash   instead of a credit. To my surprise they said my

insurance would be refunded too and not just if I took a credit.

I hope the agent I talked to was correct!

Yes, rec'd mine a few days ago for Mar. 29th cruise.

Just used ours from the cancelled cruise toward the one we set up today. They just transferred it. The insurance is based on the cost of the cruise. We went from a 7 day to a 15 day and the additional insurance was about $110. We are happy campers.

What costs are included in the future cruise credit (FCC)?

The following will be applied to the FCC:

• Cruise fare and taxes
  • Including any winning Upgrade Advantage payments.
• Flight arrangements booked through Norwegian Cruise Line.
• Hotel and CruiseTour packages purchased through Norwegian Cruise Line.
• Shore Excursions booked and pre-paid through Norwegian Cruise Line
• Prepaid service charges
• Beverage or Dining gratuities (if part of FAS Promotion selection)
• Essentials, Booksafe Standard or Platinum Travel Protection, if purchased.

Under your account, "My Coupons and Credits". It will show the FCC listed, another line for insurance FCC, and other like Cruise Next Certificates.

I rec'd the email telling me I'd be receiving another FCC on Mar. 31st.

When I log into My Account

at the bottom of the page (I have 3 cruises listed) 

I think the date is just a "hold" not specific to any reservation.
