Is this possible Port Canaveral

Is it possible to drop off my wife and kids at the port with all of the luggage and have it checked in and then for just myself to drop the rental car off? I’m not really sure how far away the Alamo place is from the port but I was told it’s close. It would save having To transfer four of us and luggage on a shuttle bus

You can absolutely do this. I have done it myself.

All of the car rental locations are relatively close to the port - we have done exactly this when cruising with a bigger group.  If it is just the wife and I we both ride the car rental shuttle after returning the car.  Enjoy! 😎

Absolutely.  The Alamo location will have a shuttle, but if weather is good it's actually very walkable back to the terminal whatever's easiest.

ONLY if at Terminal 1 which is on same side of the port as the Alamo/National/Enterprise office. (or T-3 when that reopens.)

 

The other terminals ... the B side aka the NORTH side (Disney, Carnival, NCL primarily) are separated from the south side by a draw bridge that is CLOSED to foot traffic ..... security WILL stop you, there is no foot path or sidewalks ...

I am debating this and using Uber. I could drop wife and daughter off with all luggage, drive car back to the hotel, and Uber back. But Uber XL may still be easier.
