Will this be the end of smoking in the casino forever?

Now would be a perfect time to impose the ban, especially with a more health-aware public.

 

People are more than welcome to smoke their lungs away anytime...but not anyplace.  If it imposes on others (including in a casino), they are getting preferential treatment over everyone else around them. It's wrong and always has been.

 

Maybe now the cruise lines will be bold enough to eliminate the 2nd hand smoke altogether. Bravo if they do.

This would not be a good move for cruising. It will be hard enough to get people to really dedicate themselves to cruising again. If they ever ban smoking they will even lose more cruisers. imo  

 

 

Going forward to entice the public to cruise they are going to have to convince the public that the ships will have a healthy environment. Banning smoking would probably  turn out to be a net positive.

Perhaps they should experiment. Change an existing casino that people need to walk through to non-smoking, and create another for the smokers, in some dark dirty grimy corner of the ship that no-one else need go near 😉. Then we can see where the cruise lines make the most money (or, alternative view, the fools lose most money lol).
