So if everyone that travels is fully vaccinated it's ok to cruise?

This line from the CDC guidance suggests cruising is still not OK:

Visits or small gatherings likely represent minimal risk to fully vaccinated people. Medium or large-sized gatherings and those including unvaccinated people from multiple households increase the risk of SARS-CoV-2 transmission.

And

All people, regardless of vaccination status, should adhere to current guidance to avoid medium- or large-sized in-person gatherings and to follow any applicable local guidance restricting the size of gatherings.

I doubt a cruise would be considered a small gathering.

In addition, the fully vaccinated person guidance states there is no change to the travel guidance. The travel guidance is still:

COVID-19 Alert: Cases are Extremely High. Avoid Travel

Travel increases your chance of getting and spreading COVID-19. CDC recommends that you do not travel at this time. Delay travel and stay home to protect yourself and others from COVID-19.

So to me it doesn't sound like it's any major breakthrough concession by the CDC that will lead to cruising in the near future. But I guess it is a baby step in the right direction.

True. The problem is that people read things there that are just not there. It's called wishful thinking.
