Anyone seen/heard anything about when these cruises are supposed to be open for sale?

The cruises have been on sale for over a month.  They are open only to vaccinated Israeli residents.  If that suits you log on to Royal's Israeli  site.  It will not appear anywhere else

Israel will "open up" for fully vaccinated tourists in organized groups in the 2nd half of May.

Our hotels and indoor pubs/restaurants in England are expected to open on May 17th whether people are vaccinated or not.

Odyssey has arrived in Haifa.

 

It is said in the newspapers that, since the crew is not vaccinated, all the supplies will be dealt "contactless", and nobody will disembark.

 

I wonder how are they going to vaccinate the crew.... Still 6 weeks until the 1st cruise, though.

The arrival of Royal Caribbean’s newest cruise ship, Odyssey of the Seas, in Israel was marred by news that a crew member ended his life as the ship was sailing toward Haifa earlier this week, according to several crew members who wish to remain anonymous.

The unnamed crew member, who is reportedly from India, went overboard from the Odyssey of the Seas Tuesday night as the Royal Caribbean cruise ship sailed south of Cyprus en route to Haifa.

The cruise ship’s master announced the crew member’s death yesterday via the ship intercom system. The ship employee’s name and details of death were not disclosed.
