Rare IntrepidFromDC Posted May 18, 2021 #1 Share Posted May 18, 2021 I'm tempted to try MSC. I did the status match, but I have a question. Does MSC have a point system like Carnival, where they award free drinks, free/heavily discounted future cruise offers, for gamblers. If so does the program work similar to Carnival's, where for table players they're using some formula based on length of play time and average bets? Thanks. Rare CruiseIreland Posted May 18, 2021 #3 Share Posted May 18, 2021 Hi. Yes, they do. A recent review on here by 2 chaps on Grandiosa explained the system quite well. Something like 1 point for every 2.50 wagered. I will look for the thread. Ken

voyagerL Posted May 18, 2021 #5 Share Posted May 18, 2021 Yes, on my last cruise I got 1200 player points or something along those lines and a 1/3 off voucher for a cruise of my choice.

I labored through a LOT of words but didn't find anything on the gambling point system. Thanks, though.
Rare Shippy Posted May 18, 2021 #7 Share Posted May 18, 2021 Best casino club at sea ! But, who knows now with everything changing. We are slot players. Penny machines but average about $2. a pull. Probably after about the 3rd day, we would get the 30 % off your next cruise coupon. Unlike other clubs, you do not have to book through them. You find you favorite travel agency & book through them and then call MSC casino & they adjust the price. We use our favorite Internet agency that throws in gratuities and OBC. then call MSC. ALSO, MSC gives some cashback in the casino on your next trip. Mine is $300. That is how we were able to book a YC3 on our next trip ! 2

hamrag Posted May 19, 2021 #9 Share Posted May 19, 2021 I have never understood why casino players get or should expect such perks. Why should they be any different from those who spend lots on various tours at each port of call, or those who spend in the specialty restaurants, spa facilities and shops on board??
dgreeney Posted May 27, 2021 #10 Share Posted May 27, 2021 You should really try URComped. You have to provide casino status on other cruise lines or casinos and if you qualify, you can get a free cruise.
