pbenjamin Posted June 18, 2021 #1 Share Posted June 18, 2021 Sailing out of Port Canaveral in January, it looks like we can use points to book Holiday Inn Club Vacations Cape Canaveral Beach Resort. That would appear to be a convenient place to stay the night before. Is there anything that would make that a bad idea? Also, we always seek out a Cuban restaurant when in Florida. I realize that there would be better choices in Miami, Fort Lauderdale or Tampa, but Port Canaveral is where we will be. Any recommendations? Vargas Café is at the top of some lists but it is described as Cuban and Mexican which sounds a bit off. Is that the place to go?
Rare Noxequifans Posted June 19, 2021 #2 Share Posted June 19, 2021 As to the idea of staying there, suggest reading reviews in TripAdvisor.
Rare BoozinCroozin Posted June 20, 2021 #3 Share Posted June 20, 2021 If you can use points to stay for free, it beats paying $200+ for a hotel. I always look at where I am staying as a place to sleep and shower. Nothing more. I tend to go with the cheapest that is safe.
