During the current COVID protocols, are these machines available for use?

Yes but a server prepares the drink for you.

On the Oasis last week the Freestyle machines each had a crew member pushing the buttons.  Just hand him/her the cup and let them know your choice of beverage.  It may have been more efficient than when I pushed the buttons in the past!

(1) there is no self serve on board (freestyle machines, ice cream machines, buffet). A crew member must be available to pour the drinks for you (and they are not always there). 

 

(2) Since a crew member is operating the machines, you don't need a RFID cup, they will pour soda into regular glasses (as long as you have a beverage package on your seapass card).
